Matheus Roger is a Brazilian goalkeeper in his early twenties who has spent his career inside the country’s most demanding youth system. Born in Catalão, Goiás, he moved through PSTC Londrina, Corinthians, and Avaí before joining AA Flamengo São Paulo (Flamengo de Guarulhos) in September 2025. He is a tall, right-footed shot-stopper still in the early years of his career.
The pathway has been consistent. Each step has placed him inside a structured academy environment, with clubs that take youth football seriously and produce players for the senior game.

Career
Born and raised in Catalão, Goiás, Matheus started at PFC / Bola na Rede before moving to his first youth team at PSTC Londrina, an established youth-development club in Paraná. From there he joined Corinthians, where he entered the youth setup in 2021 and signed his first professional contract in March 2023.
In 2024 he was registered in the Corinthians squad for the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, the tournament Corinthians went on to win that year.
In August 2024 he moved on loan to Avaí FC in Florianópolis, where he worked with the U20 group and made his Copinha 2025 debut on 4 January 2025 against União Araguainense.
On 24 September 2025 he joined AA Flamengo São Paulo, also known as Flamengo de Guarulhos. He played for the club’s U20 side in the 2026 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, where Flamengo-SP were eliminated by Palmeiras on penalties in the round of sixteen. He has remained with the club since.
